Ahuva Yanai – United Way ranked as leading non-profit

May 8, 2019Tomer SapirMembers NewsNo Comments
Recently, Forbes Magazine has ranked United Way as the leading nonprofit organization in the US. Represented in Israel by Matan – Investing in the Community (United Way Israel), the United Way was also honored by “Fast Company’s annual list” as one of the “World’s Most Innovative Companies for 2019.”

United Way aims to leverage the resources and skills of companies, employees and donors to community development and to promote social responsibility. That goes hand in hand with Matan’s aims – connecting businesses and individuals with the community, to advance the common good and create a long-term change in Israel.

“The philanthropic dream is possible and quality investment in the community can be executed,” says Ahuva Yanai, CEO of Matan. “We have developed a flexible and tailored infrastructure for every social challenge, combining knowledge and creativity, experience and the ability to bridge cultures, the business sector and the social sector, so that investment in the community of business organizations and companies will create significant and exciting social change. Matan is a proud member of United Way Worldwide.”
