AlmaLinks held an informative session with Michael Rudin, Senior Vice President at Rudin Management Company. Amongst many topics discussed, he shared his journey into building their own in-house tech company and the energy savings they have made because of it. He talked about the different things they have done in their building in response to COVID and touched on what he thinks Real Estate’s biggest trends will be, like climate tech, environmental and sustainability goals, including carbon tech, and ensuring tenants have all the information they need at their fingertips. The Rudin family entered the New York real estate scene in 1905 and has built some of the most technologically advanced buildings globally, including 3 Times Square and Dock 72. Their portfolio encompasses over 10 million square feet of office space and 17 luxury apartment buildings in New York.
