
Anna Phillips heads Business Development for Goldman Sachs Investment Partners, Venture Capital and Growth Equity. Prior to GS, Anna spent three years in Tel Aviv at Start Up Nation Central, heading up Strategic Partnerships, where she focused on connecting international companies and governments with Israeli innovation. Prior to Israel, Anna was a Fulbright Scholar in Uganda researching the effectiveness of quotas for women in the national parliament and working on several presidential and parliamentary campaigns in East Africa. Anna also established a non-profit in Uganda, Girls Kick It, in 2006 that has empowered over 600 young women through sports, life skills and micro-enterprise training.
